getting less and less,
2009 I just have some tiny sketches in my office notebook...
in 2010 I started playing with fabrics and well sketching was not that useful here...what you can see is one of those brilliant ideas I had...that I never realized or ... not yet! ;)

Now, I think sketching is something else than cutting and actually creating your vision, It also seams I can come back to sketching and keep on cutting. Just keep it separated, don't get too excited :)

2005... long time ago

some sketches I just dug out from 2005...seams ages ago, but on the other hand timeless and so motivating. I feel like sketching again! Not only because it is such a fun but because you can see how the line is changing within the time, how I develop, how I change, what is influencing me.

Leftover

yesterday we had a day off in hk, sad to say I didn't care much to check why... :) I was just so happy to have it you cant imagine! and tomorrow is Friday already! ah
anyway, I had some white fabric leftover...so I decided to stitch it and possibly do a simple top. I must admit it was not easy, no tears this time but Louis de Funes face for sure! Why? answer is pretty simple, I was not that much in love with a join line between to pieces I managed to put together since it was just in the middle of my belly! Looked so stupid, so to say...
I was trying and trying some options...cutting and stitching and what follows that loosing fabric in every attempt! And then brilliant help arrived :) I add more lines, some random stitches and folds on belly and here we go, not that bad at all ;)
thank you Paolo! thank you thank you for the idea how to simply remove attention from one middle line :)

Dot Dot

simple top with two dots. done just last week... :)
And what can I say? it wasn't that simple as it may look like from this beautiful pictures...! tears of unhappiness, anger and some kind of feeling of .... being .... BIG and grey!

This two dots are breakthrough to bliss out!

White dress, I do like it but...
it makes me look bigger than I am so... I simply stopped wearing it...
since I am huge now anyway :)

Black dress

from the beginning till the end extremely positive experience. Gorgeous fabric, easy to wear, super comfy :) Ah! And this is a time my belly started to show, like you know, you just can't hide it anymore ;)

1h dress

1h dress, cut and stitch, no fitting, no measuring. Total rush for a friend's marriage celebration. I was really proud of my speed :) haha

Long lasting experiment

This one even though started with tears and great anger and, and oh that was just such a miserable day of cutting and stitching accompanied by huge waste of fabric. Great fabric, I must say! I love this grey tone, texture and thickness!
Anyway, after usual great disaster, that by the way always happens because I am trying too hard... I managed to relax. Of course thanks to Paolo :)
so, after that I just wrapped myself with something in a shape of square, cut a hole for a hand, stitched some kind of opening for my head and other hand... put two buttons, did a button hole and there we go! I really adore this piece till now! It is just perfect, if you have a belly or not if it is small or big it just works :) Lovely! From now on I knew - never try too hard, after all I am not a fashion designer!
( and well I tried couple more times later on really hard and failed with great explosion of emotions...sometimes it is a matter of fabric that is simply too difficult for a begginer and sometimes it is just my imagination that would like to do so much...when my skills are not ready yet)

nothing to talk about, it is too small for me now :) beside it is a bit too hot in hk nowadays to wear it anyway :P

Disaster

That was a disaster...I really do not like this fabric, I dont know why I bought it...
well I can only guess I liked it that day...

I was trying to cut a dress, then I cut it more and more...why?
Maybe I just had this cutting sickness or else...? Anyway I ended up with sth like a tshirt that I wore only once... Yh ugly ugly.
And actually now when I look back this dress was not that bad at all...

This was my 3rd attempt... next ones are JUST better ;)

Long Long time ago...

my second attempt in cutting and stitching...for special occasion on 12 February.... oh yes that was ages ago...
I was cutting and cutting till not much of that fabric was left, but final effect was pretty ok, so no complain...you can see it here *
